Ameli Skoglund, a recent Lindenwood grad, needed a quick look-book for her clothing designs. Models were Amy Richardson and Victoria Verbytskyy, makeup and hair by Marla Lebish.
West Model Jentri
I got the opportunity, the other day, to shoot West Model Jentri; of all the models I’ve shot, she has been the most captivating and the most beautiful. Styling was grace à Elizabeth Turner and makeup/hair was all Lindsey Stevens.
West Model Francois
I continue with my test shoots hoping that the people at West Model Mangament like my work enough that they’ll send their models my way. This is West model Francois, my first male model. I have to say, I was impressed with Francois’ professionalism and sensitivity, this kid will go far in life! Styling all done by the fabulous Elizabeth Turner.

Modeling Headshots – Candace
I’ve had the immense opportunity to start being mentored by John Fedele, a St Louis commercial photographer; I not only admire his work, but he also has such a smooth and approachable style when it comes to interacting with clients and with teaching me the ropes. John will be mentoring me in what it takes to run a photography business; specifically, he’ll be teaching me his headshot business which he used to run and now wants me to slowly begin taking over. This really is a fantastic opportunity to get trained by a professional, to get experience in all sorts of photography including fashion and commercial work, and to finally get my foot into a successful studio. I’m eager for the future with John and eager to share it all with you. Below is my first test shoot, with a wonderfully kind model, Candace; I hope you enjoy!

Vakkár Style Fashion Blog: Shannon
The model we had lined up for today’s shoot decided to ignore my confirmation emails, so luckily enough the owner of Vakkár salon quickly found a stand-in model. Shannon thought she was just going to be modeling hair and makeup, little did she know that she’d be doing a full modeling job. While getting coffee in the nearby Deer Creek Coffee, I asked the owner if he would mind us shooting in his store; he didn’t mind at all and was actually quite open about us being there. I highly appreciated his non-chalant-ness regarding this, especially for a business owner who may have some unhappy customers because of us getting in his way. But the shoot went well and I am very happy with the photos; for her first time Shannon did great! I hope you enjoy.
